Daniel Dias Machado
Dr. Daniel Dias Machado is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Traumatologist, registered with the Brazilian College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology, with postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology from FACOP.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Dentistry, a Licentiate degree in Biological Sciences (Medical Modality), and a Licentiate degree in Physics, with training in Medical Physics.
He has postgraduate qualifications in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology, Surgical Orofacial Harmonization, and Dermatological Surgeries. He holds a Master's degree in Head and Neck Surgery and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Temporomandibular Dysfunction and Orofacial Pain.
He works as a Neuroscience Researcher at the Sírio-Libanês Hospital and as a Researcher in Medicine and Lifestyle at the University of São Paulo (USP), developing studies focused on the integration of neuroscience, regenerative medicine, pain, and craniofacial rehabilitation. He is also the coordinator of the Postgraduate Specialization Program in Facial Aesthetic Surgery (FACOP - https://cirurgiasesteticas.odo.br/), playing a fundamental role in the training of new specialists in the field.
His professional activity focuses on the areas of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology, Orofacial Medicine, Advanced Facial Aesthetics, Dermatological Facial Surgery, Orofacial Pain, Temporomandibular Disorders, Neurosciences Applied to Health, and functional and aesthetic craniofacial rehabilitation, combining solid surgical training, scientific production, and evidence-based clinical practice.
